Round Valley Loop 1
Trail nickname                               GPS download              Trail Info
This is an excellent beginner.
Round Valley is the first to thaw,
first to dry after a rain, and all
around good fun if you are a
racer...or the SO of a racer.
Its a winner every time.

Princess DI, Out and Back
Another Great Loop,  Nice, no trail
traffic.  Off the beaten path.  Park at
the Promontory trailhead and take
the paved trail to the dirt trailhead.
Though Promontory is private, the
trail is Basin Rec Land, so wave and
smile at the guards...they'll always let
you by.  The out and back keeps you
from hopping the hwy barrier on I 80.
Monday Morning Loop
More from the Round Valley Trail
System.  This route starts from the
Post Office/No Name Saloon (the
Alamo), and utilizes the prospector
trail, and the park meadows
switchbacks.  Super fun, beginner to
intermediate, and fully ridable.

Flying Dog
The Flying Dog trail is part of the
Glenwind trail system.  The trailhead is
at Kimball Junction.  This trail is
moderate, with some switchback climbs
and descents.  You can cut it at several
places to shorten it up.
The elevation is low, so its ridable early.
Its a popular choice on Saturdays.
Mid Mountain
The mid mountain trail is the classic
park city loop.  You can take it from the
powerline trail back into town (shown
here) or to the canyons or Deer Valley.
Let your conscious be your guide.
